About KB Embroidery
Karen Bone first starting embroidering in 2004 when her mother bought a small machine for she and her sister to share. At first it was just a hobby and it was fun monogramming clothes for her baby girl. Soon friends began to ask if they could pay her to monogram for their children. The circle of people who Karen was monogramming for grew larger and larger and she decided to start a “real” business.
In 2006 she officially started her business although it was still small. In May of 2006 Karen had her second girl and when her baby was 6 months old she decided that she would expand her business and buy a bigger machine. Soon it was clear that this “bigger” machine was still not big enough so she traded it in for a commercial machine. Eventually one commercial machine became two. Today she has a thriving business located in Nashville Tennesee that has mostly grown by word of mouth. Thank you to all of the current customers and welcome to all of the new ones!
